Wouldn't be one of those rare Finn M39's with the PUOLUSTUSLAITOS marking that the Finns put on for a short time in 1942 to mark as military property, would it?

Looks like it has the SA too, which, according to Tuco's Mosinnagant.net, was what the PUOLUSTUSLAITOS was used instead of for a very short time.

Still, I feel you might adapt well enough.

Niner et alia---the rifle came through a local shop, which got it from a large wholesaler. It had a tag that said "HOLD PILE" that the Importer put on while separating sheep from goats.

It wasn't found out wandering around loose, so it was a bit expensive.

I love the damned thing, though, so I shorted the Dentist's bill.

What's he going to do...take the teeth back?

Tempting but not on the wifes agenda at the moment

I am currently in 'negotiations' with a member of the club that may see the sale of a Meopta 6x42 Scope. The monies from this sale WILL be invested in an 1891/30 in 30-284W.

Please don't chastise me for the caliber change but it allows me to buy as a Cat.5 (easy) instead of a Cat 1. (VERY difficult)
