Other Patton Museum........

Post by Niner Delta » Mon Apr 23, 2007 3:32 pm

This one is in California desert on I-10 between LA and Arizona border. Have stopped there a couple of times and it has good displays indoors and out.

It is really in the middle of nowhere.

This is one of several websites about the museum.

Hey Vern, they only got the "Franklin Mint" version of the revolver. Kind of like my 91/30 sniper.

Replicas

Post by Niner Delta » Tue Apr 24, 2007 1:27 pm

Yes, makes me wonder how often museums and public displays show replicas and have the real items locked up. Which is fine, if the display states that it is a replica. Wonder how often it isn't stated and you are let believe it is the real thing?
