Memorial Day Weekend
Every Memorial Day weekend for the last 20 years or so Japanese collectors and Banzai members have met at Bobby Blevins for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday get together. Lots of Japanese stuff to see, rifles, pistols and machine guns to shoot.

MORE INFO PLEASE
For us in Europe, is that a shop, a museum or an individual collection? If it's a collection then I quit here and NOW!

That is what you call a collection
That is a private collection of several hundred Japanese Arisaka rifles. I have seen some of the pictures before and am amazed that a collection like that has been put together. I hope the collection never gets broken up.

Peter.

Duncan, you are just getting greedy now..........
No Ian, just being a good neighbour. Always happy to help out a fellow member who is in a difficult situation.
I think I may have seen an Arisaka at the Royal Armouries but it didn't register as such.

My collection
My representative Arisaka collection consists of six rifles. I consider myself fortunate to have got that many in the UK. I have only seen one other on a UK range and that was a Type 97 sniper. I have seen a Type 2 paratrooper rifle for sale but didn't fancy paying £1000 for it. I would like a better example of a Type 38 rifle if one came along.

Memorial Day Weekend
This is a private collection. I just talked on the phone with him, a very nice guy. First time I met him he gave me a nice stock for a T38 calvary rifle. I came home went to the shop and modifed a T38 barreled action and now I have a fake Calvary Carbine. Later found a real one to buy. Any way there are over 1000 Japanese rifles in that collection. Anyone can look at them.
Here are my three T44's. First, second and third variations.

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too bad, that there are not that much Arisakas here in Germany around.
Most of them are Thai T38 and Police-Carbines.
Maybe one day I will get me one of those Police-Crbines just to have a short Arisaks, gave up the hope of finding a real T38 carbine or a T44.
BTW, Roy, your dies work GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of fun shooting my T38s
Only downside, Sierra does not make the 160grn Prohunters anymore, must grab all, i can find here.
