Chris, after exhuastive research (page 98 "The Broad Arrow" by Ian Skennerton!) I have come up with "Ardrossan Academy Army School.

It sounds like it should be in Scotland and I will let the Jocks on the forum correct me on that one.

Adam over to you!

Well I haven't a bloody clue, just been through Laidlers "Identification of Buttstock Marking Discs in British service 1900 - 1944" and it hasn't helped me.

He doesn't list Ardrossan Academy, bloody wet place Ardrossan, in the officers training schools list, but so what I hear you say.

I reckon its for the Alcholics Anonymous Batalion myself.

I hate buttstock disc questions, they do my head in, I don't think I've ever found a disc thats been on any of the lists as shown. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START >: --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">;

Years ago in the Armoury at 2 Base Wksp RAEME, Moorebank, NSW there was a board with about a 100 different discs on it. Wonder if anyone snaffled it when the old building was demolished in the 80s?
