Matching bolt
It is a matching number bolt. It doesn't look out of place with the rest of the rifle in the flesh, so to speak.

Started talking price
The chap with the G98 was on the phone tonight starting to talk about prices. His opening bid is £440 ($870USD). That price includes a set of dies, 500 bullets and a few hundred once fired cases. I said I would think about it and let him know later as I have to get the paperwork sorted before I could get it. Assuming the extra bits are worth £80-£100 the rifle would be £340-£360. Does that sound reasonable? I am tempted as there doesn't seem to be many about and I have shot this one.

Hell give him the money Peter, its not a bargain its dealer prices. However if its in good strip and you want it get as your not being robbed he's just not doing you any favours.
I think you know my policy, if you see it buy it as it won't be there again.
My experience with these rifle is that the days of getting one and then seeing half dozen after at half the price are almost gone.
Caveat emptor?

I must agree.......
My wife is an expert at "I might find another one for 1€ less" then plays hell when there isn't one.
Here the 'bits' are worth about £85.

Get it
A Rifle in the hand is worth a lot more than what MAY come by.
Get it while you can.

I phoned him today
I have told him I will have the rifle. He won't budge on price though
However, there is also about 100 rounds of ammo included as well that he didn't mention before.
I now have to sort out the paperwork which is a pain in the arse and costs £26.
Regards
Peter..
