A.J. Parker/Parker Hale 8/53 Windage adjuster

Post by Tara31 » Thu Jul 26, 2007 10:27 am

The 8/53 Windage adjuster would be a nice add-on to my No.7 Mk.1.

Anyone any idea where to find this scarce sight?

A PH4 would do as well, I'm looking for windage adjustment and a smaller sight hole, albeit staying as close as possible to the original military sight as possible, so no PH5 etc.

But maybe I'm asking the impossible?

Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.

Cheers,

Marc

There is a gunsmith in Germany, who makes repro AJP 8/53 sighs, look here:

Only downside is, the PH 6 hole aperture does not fit, other threads.

I use a PH5DC on my No7 just for cool looks, the AJP 8/53 worked also good.
