I was working for ITT/FSI who had the O&M contract for the DEW line radar stations for all but about 4 years of there entire existance.

Basically I was doing the same thing that I did as a GI but for about 2 times the money.

These pics are from about Sep 89 to about July of 90.

And who would you suppose this fine looking young lad it?

The Radome

FOX-MAIN Hall Beach, NWT The bridge gives heated access between A train on the left and B train on the right. A train had all of the operational areas as well as the chow hall which can be behind those parked trucks on the left where the orange door is.

B train held the admin and living quarters. My room was down in the very end of B train in an area that they called the Black module.

Beautiful down town Hall Beach. It looks pretty good now but just wait until everything thaws out in the spring, You won't believe what is hiding under the snow.

The FCO that controlled all circuits in or out. On either side of it are the 120' dishes that used to hold up this end of the 800 mile Tropo shot to Thule.

Another shot of Hall Beach, the area just out beyond those buildings is sea ice.
