I have the Martini

Post by Woftam » Wed Sep 26, 2007 2:00 am

at bloody last.

Hopefully the pic is going to work. I think next time I'll stick to individual photos, the composite thing is harder than it looks. I appreciate Chris's photo's all the more now.

Any comments welcome. Particularly interested in comment on the front swivel and forearm.

Looks to be in real good condition. Like the detail in the collage. Good work Wolfam.

Congrats Grahme, in your hot sweaty little grasp at last hey

It looks a seriously nice rifle, in very good nick.

Do you have bigger pics or clickable thumbnails you could post up as i would like to see more detail of the swivel, fore-end, etc.

Whats the bore look like? When you going to shoot it?

Well I tried to resize but it doesn't seem to want to work. I'll leave it here so the clever people can tell me where I went wrong.

What I was wondering about was the fact that it has a channel in the forearm (clearing rod ?) and I've not seen the split style piling swivel before.

And thanks for all the kind comments gents. Also went and looked at a Martini Cadet while I was on the road but it wasn't worth buying.
