Snowed off!

Post by joseyclosey » Sun Dec 09, 2007 2:13 pm

Our club held a shoot at Whipperdale 6c military range

yesterday and while the day started well being cloudy

but dry and cold, by 10.30am the rain arrived and by

11.30 am the snow arrived, by 12.30pm bad visibility

stopped all shooting on the range complexes.

So making the best of a bad job we cooked up

all the bacon, egg, sausage and black pudding,

had a good feed up then packed up and buggered

off home to clean and dry weapons, equipment and

clothes.

Ah yes, English weather. I remember it well, not fondly, just well.

At least you have decent ranges Joe. Just found out the official word on ours - now limited to 100 metres
