Denmarks Swedish M94 Mauser

Post by Flatlands » Sun Jan 06, 2008 8:45 pm

Ran across a few goodies at the gunshow. 98AZ Polish, 98AZ Turk. Also there was a clean Swede m94 carbine that somebody stuck a 1991 quarter in the stock about half way between the marking disc and the wrist of the stock. My book says Sweden gave {or sold} 94 and 96 rifles to Demark and the Finns. Also that the Danes put a silver coin in the stock. Did they replace the disc or inlay a coin in the stock. Was there any other Danish markings on the gun. I'm suppose to meet the owner later in the week. Is it worth my 1909 Argentine carbine and 150 cash or just 400 cash. The 1909 is mismatched numbers and the standard trigger guard. Thank you.

Personally I would jump on a M94 at that price/trade if it was reasonably original.I'd be curious to see what you find out vis a vis the coin.....

Thanks John

So far no info found other than Ned Schwing's Millitary Firearms price and reference guide.
