Went shooting today...been a while

Post by Niner » Thu Feb 28, 2008 10:55 pm

Put some guns in the truck and headed out the 30 miles to the range. Turned on the radio as I drove and listened to such epics as "If Heaven ain't like Dixie, I don't want to go" to get into the mood.....getting tired of the oldies station anyway.

Had my Kentucky and Plains rifle, as well as the 1858 Remington.

Pistol shot better than the rifles... but surgery eye still not right yet and at 100 yards the red target whited out on the white backboard making it more backboard shooting than target shooting. But no big deal. The idea was to shoot the guns safely, which I can still do.
