Anybody ID This Pouch?

Things a soldier would carry other than firearms, ammo, or uniforms. Meaning equipment such as ammo pouches, bayonets, holsters, oil cans, cleaning equipment, etc.

Hello,

I'm pretty sure your pouch is Israeli. They used web gear based on the P-37 and may still. I have one like it that has not been blancoed and has Israeli markings.

I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy!

24626151,

I'm sorry :| , I was "cleaning house" and deleted them from my album. I took a new pic and posted it in the opening post of this thread.

Thanks for showing that pouch on ebay, looks just like mine, but the dimensions are a little different. Now I'm pretty positive who's pouch it is, but, what's if for?

I bought it from the guy because I thought it would go nice with my '41 Lithgow. Anybody know where I can find a ammo pouch for my Lithgow?

Thanks you all for your replies, got a lot more interest than I thought it would. I sure would like to know a little of the history of this pouch!!

no problem I had all the lads moaning that the pic had dissapeared, I suggest any generic 37 pattern kit would suffice!

One way to solve the photo problem

Post by Niner » Thu May 15, 2008 11:47 am

If you would just save the photo as a jpg to your desktop you can just attach it in your post. Won't go away that way unless the site goes away or unless you edit your post.....or some moderator sees a reason to delete it. Nice and simple once you get the hang of it. Anybody can do it... I even copied your photo again and added it as an attachment in this post.

Take a look at this post.
