Happy 4th of July

Post by Niner » Fri Jul 04, 2008 10:00 am

Everybody be safe now and don't hold the firecrackers in your hand when you light them, and use plenty of sun screen if you go to the beach, and don't drink too much beer.......and all that other stuff your mother used to tell you.

I got to go help my son burn some ribs and burgers and hot dogs over some charcoal.

Have a good one.

Ah, firecrackers. A thing of the past for us for many years. Curse the nanny state

Happy Independence day

Thanks, Niner!

I did not have any fireworks, but I formed a big pile of brass in my backyard!

Lucky I had already mowed the lawn!

I did a pig roast for the neighbours as we celebrated the wifes 40th (a week early, we are working next weekend). As for fireworks we can still make our own here just about legally!
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy!
