Another immaculately restored AFV at the DLI military vehicle

rally was this superb Saladin. Unfortunately it was a late entry

to the rally so there was no info on it the programme.

There was one as a Gate Guard at Lisanelly bks in the Late 80's, Lisanelly in Omagh had been the home posting for 39 Brigades Cavalry Regt. As for Gate Gd, it sat inside the camp on a hillock outside Bn HQ, it may have required regular repainting otherwise.

The last Cav mob there patrolled Fermanagh in CVR(W) Fox and 3/4 ton LR combos. The Cav left the Province in 82 I think!
