I just picked up a mauser this weekend at a small gun show.it has a columbian crest.matching bolt reciever seems to have a new barrel :D .

overall I would say close to excellent cond.rifle is in 30/06 matching numbers bolt and reciever.

any help would be great.

L-25 MAUSER Model 24 carbine, 5 round magazine, 18.25" barrel. Made by F.N. of Belgium for the Colombian government. Converted in 1957 to 30.06 to simplify ammunition supply when Colombia acquired a number of M1 rifles. Receiver ring has a rounded cut to clear the 30.06 bullet point
