I tend to lean towards a good meatanpotatopie with cheesed mash and mushy peas, onion gravey and mint sauce on the peas.
Interesting about the rounds though!

Have no fear that a jacket stuck in the bore will do much damage. In the dozens that I have seen over the years all that happened was that there was a slight bulge in the barrel and a dark spot in the bore. The jacket gets pressed into the bore to the extent that the bore gauge will pass through it. Jackets in the bore were more common with machine guns, especially the Vickers.

Ok, how about boston creme pie, I've had some jamacan meat pies. Very tasty but have to watch out as they can be very spicey. Or (I know I'm going to catch heck for this)sweany todd meat pies. Back when I worked for a living I used to supervise the unloading of fuel from various tankers. greek, italian, german and british. Used to get invites to eat with the ships officers every once in awhile. Never saw meat pies on british officer's mess. Frank
