Will do - and this time I had better book some lodgings well in advance... It's always a madhouse in that period!

Maybe I'll bring a rifle too, if I can figure out how to keep it safe while I am visiting the fair - and if you can get me some range time!

Well we are an hour and a half drive from Bordeaux Lac and our Gîte is available for that week at a discount price to you. I can lay on some range time free of charge on Sunday morning in Blaye (50mtrs) or Monday and Wednesday in Merignac (50-200mtrs). If you can't bring a rifle then I can offer you a Mauser K98k or my Enfield No:4 or some other modern pieces that my pal owns. He changes them so often that I can't remember what he has at the moment but its all good kit! :bigsmile:
