this custom trap gun just grabbed me , ive always intended to get a martini but never thought it would be a shotgun , hope it improves my trap shooting , but even if its me that stinks at trap ill have fun with this beautiful gun

im not sure - it was custom made for someone else , but ive seen similar on trap guns , id like to know as well if there is something to be known

the wording on the left receiver is "converted by C. G. Bonehill of Birmingham for the Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs"

the right side is marked 'crown' /VR /enfeild./1888./crown-arrow/IV./1.

im sure that there are those here that can enlighten me , id very much appreciate anything that might be offered

The original conversion by Bonehill would have been to .22". I have one of their conversions and its from a .303" Martini with the barrel sleeved to .22".

The shotgun conversion is much later and by the looks of the pics a very fine job indeed, congratulations.

Greener made shotgun verions known as police guns in 14 bore as well as the highly popular Greener GP shotgun, it has a split reciever with the barrel clamped into the receiver.

That is a beautiful looking piece! More pics of the whole gun please.

I had a WW Greener GP when I lived in the UK and sold it. I wish I had not, it was a fantastic DTL gun and very effective in a Turner Team Shoot.

I remember seeing that shotgun listed when you traded for it...I was jealous! That is a beautiful shotgun. I've been looking for one ever since I saw yours! I can't wait to see a report on how it shot. Congratulations and if you ever decide to sell it...look here first, I'll be waiting. :D
