The Forty Thousand Horseman was remade I think in later years as The Light Horseman which is quite qoood.
Walmart in the US in their 2 for $5 DVD bin has a series called War Classics. Some of those great old WWII propaganda movies and some grat old classics and some very bad B grade war movies.

Gonna revive this old thread with a new entry. Have any of you seen the movie "Battle of the River Plate" I enjoyed the heck out of it as it used real warships. Some of which were in the real battle!!
