Scope Rash!
Our club had one of its regular shoots at Wathgill 6c ETR range yesterday. The weather was warm and sunny with a refreshingly cooling breeze. Amongst our guests was a first time shooter who is now christened "Sniper Steve" , his first shot with a Pecar scoped Steyr resulted in a split forehead.
Once he had been plastered up Adam and i took him under our care and proceeded to coach him in the delights of old service rifle shooting.

Re: Scope Rash!
Bloody hell, pommies in shirt sleeves
You blokes having a heat wave ? Temperatures over 15 degrees
Better make sure "Sniper" has some sunscreen for his head.
What's with Adam ? Carpet burns on the elbows again ? Dragged kicking and screaming to the range ?
Enjoyed the pics Joe, thanks for posting. What tasty piece of kit have you tantalisingly placed just out of view in the last photo ?
L42A perhaps

Re: Scope Rash!
We are having a heatwave Graeme, and its very nice
The rifle just out of shot is Adams 6.5 CG63 Swede, and it is stonkingly accurate with the reloads he had knocked up.

Ah, got confused by the scope cover lying over it.The rifle just out of shot is Adams 6.5 CG63 Swede

I can see it in an earlier shot now.
