I Guess I Should Check In
Hi,
I realized I had not posted an intro, so here I am!
I have some Milsurps, from as old as a Trapdoor Springfield to as new as...well, I don't know what my newest would be. I like Garands, but also have an M1 Carbine, Swiss K31, a few Mausers (I like the Swedish M96 best), #4 and P14 Enfield, and my most recent pride and joy- an M1941 Johnson.
I guess I have a few more milsurp handguns than I thought now that I get ready to name them: CZ52, Webley Mark IV, and a Danish M49 (Sig P210) for starters.
Great to be here. I honestly can't remember how I found you! I bookmarked it a while back and just recently took the time to register.
I've already learned more from one thread here (on Webley revolvers) than I've got from any books or articles I have.

Re: I Guess I Should Check In
Thanks guys.
Yes I am at cast Boolits. I registered a couple of years ago but didn't post anything until the last two or three months. That was right about when I made the leap and started casting after reading about it for a couple of decades.
In the fall of 1981 or 82, I was ready to buy a Lyman Master Caster set, but spent the money on a TC muzzleloader instead. I finally corrected that and bought casting gear. The muzzleloader has been gathering dust for years, when I could have been making bullets.
I just smelted down some wheelweights today and cast some .30 and 9mm (Lyman 311413 and Saeco 924). I didn't plan on casting any, but since I had a new mould (the Saeco), two new handles, and that pot full of nice shiny silver metal, I had to do it. It seemed wrong to just run it into the muffin pan when I could make bullets instead.
