Colonel Green (3RAR) Brigadier Coad and a 'Jock' with the wrong (?) rifle. Korea 1951.

I thought that it was a No 1 but I changed my glasses and it might be a No4 but the nose cap seems to be rather long.
Anyway it's a nice period picture. Colonel Green was wounded by shrapnel shortly after this was taken and later died of his wound.

Its the way the highlights are in the photo, the muzzle looks as wide as the fore end giving the impression of the square ended No1.
Shame its a No 4 as if it was a No 1 then that would have been an interesting conundrum.
