For the record .303 is ok,but 7.62X54 is more available,plus it uses the same bullet size as 7.62X39 which I have a whoooole lot of so reloading will be easier,just gotta use lighter bullets in the 39.....

British .303, Russian 7.62x54R, 7.62x39, & Japanese 7.7 all use the same size .311 bullets from what I have read.
While I have no Jap rifle, I have .311 186 grain to 193 grain bullets to load in my Mosins & Enfields.
