Good Day Gentlemen,

My name is Sephton Allen, 22.yrs served Royal Marine Commando veteran :GBR: , now residing in California :USA: , WW1 Reenactor/Living Historian, member of the Great War Historical Society [Southern California], and Founder/Leader of the WW1 Reenactment/Living History Group : 2nd Batalion Lancashire Fusiliers., former member of the York and Lancs reenactment group [ The Great War Association, England].

A friend of mine from the GWHS suggested that I search out this site and have a chinwag or two with you all.

I'm certain that you will have quite a few questions to ask of me, as I will of yourselves.

Welcome to the site. Patrick gave us a heads up that he invited you. Glad he did. You will find a lot of international flavor here. You should fit right in.

WELCOME Seph to the MAD HOUSE of MAH ... This place will make you feel at home with loads of Proper Queens English Speaking members with funny accents like yours and will be able to understand what you say :lol: and if you are able to understand what Adam, Joe, Duncan and Dave are saying and talking about, you will fit in very well indeed :D. They also LOVE the SMLE as much as you do and like to poke fun at me for loving 'FROGGY' weapons except Duncan who is on my side :shock: ... well maybe :lol: You might tell them about the SMLE you recently GOT :razz:
Oh and who took a GRENADE for you at the last reenactment so you could live and get into the German trenches ... I WONDER WHO !!!

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps.

As for Patrick - AKA: Sgt-Chef Froggy!.. It can't be me he's mentioned.... yelling... me... RSM! :cool: Someone's got to do a Froggy impression.. eh Patrick?

Tell everyone about my new SMLE.... just one of FIVE!.... OK. I'll get some pics taken and post them in the appropriate section shortly. Also, once I've found my way around this forum, I'll post the war stories we've got to tell.

Some ADJUSTABLE WINDAGE SIGHTS for the No.1MkIII just happened to find its way to Seph somehow and got put on his 1913 dated rifle .... Where did those come from ... by way of some NICE FROGGY :FRA: :lol:
