.410 ga single shot. Sometime back I was given 101 assorted .410 shells so when this came up for $A80 I just had to buy it so as to use up the ammo

Weight is 6.50 lbs and the trigger pulls 3.25 lbs for the first and 5.25 for the second. The let off is very crisp, better than many rifles.
It was originally a BSA 1916 No1 Mk 3* and the action is in excellent condition, which shows, perhaps, that when Slazengers coverted these just after WW2 that good serviceable rifles were used.....there were plenty of 'em
