Pitbull, If the barrel is uncut, aside from the lugs being removed, it should be a pretty straight forward project 'till it comes time to buy the No.32, which should be a Mk.2, Mk. 2/1 or a a Mk.3. I'd try for the Mk.2/1 first and then the Mk.3.

If the bore's all right you could get a shot out barrel and make a sleeve with the sight/bayonet lugs ... sheeeesh! What some people do to these rifles!
