"BTW,
Do you have some more info on this Historic Miniature Rifle winter league.
Never heard of it before."

regulations here.....
http://www.rifleman.org.uk/HARC%20Leagu ... mation.pdf
It may be too late for this years league but it could be intetersting for next year. Its a postal comp and always great fun, this year i am shooting Standing deliberate, Standing repeater, Service Rifle (the Lampagayar) and Classic.
I can send you scans of the targets used if you would like them.

Re: Hungarian Mosin Nagant .22 LR trainer
Sounds fantastic Joe.
I love postal competitions.
I have to find out what type of rifle I can use, where to send an "application" before a certain date and how to pay for participating in the competition.
I think my Polish WZ 48 .22 trainer would be a good choice.
Maybe you can help me out a bit here.
It would be great if you could send me some targets.
I could start practising right away.
Met vriendelijke groet,
Martin

Re: Hungarian Mosin Nagant .22 LR trainer
Martin, i am pretty sure your WZ48 is eligible, the entry form and a poster is at this link.....http://www.rifleman.org.uk/HARCentry1011.pdf ....
i meant to post this in my previous post but made a mistake.
Entry costs are....
POSTAL based entries - Fee £ 8.00 per match
EMAIL based entries * - Fee £ 6.00 per match
Gongs are there to be won so think about having a dabble at it as, if you are really quick, you could still get a entry for this winters league. Entries need to be in by the end of October.

Re: Hungarian Mosin Nagant .22 LR trainer
Thanks Joe, but I just can't make it this year.
I will be very busy for the next couple of months so I will have to pass this year.
I even have problems shooting the necessary cards for our own club match.
I already put the winter match in my agenda so I can participate in next years match.
Thanks for all the info.
I appreciate it.
