Found a picture of Nixon at a press conference, pointing out who he was sending to Cambodia in 1970.

I was acting Recon Sgt. then....but still carrying the radio. Two weeks later I was FO...no rank...no rto....still in f...ing Vietnam. And they gave me an infantry E5 who was out of the field to carry my radio for a while. Don't you know he loved that. 
Photo was in the Parrots Beak waiting for Huey's to take us to the Angel Wing first week in May of 1970.
Notice the NVA helmit. I gave it to a friend who was derosing. He lost it in a bar before he got home. He's dead now so I forgive him.
