ANY THOUGHTS ON THE FOLLOWING?

As some may know, I shoot clays with a Miroku MK38 but for most of last year I was unable to use it because of problems with the carpel tunnels of both hands. I have now had them both operated on but find that the Miroku is too heavy to shoot properly - it's 3.75 kgs / 8.27lbs.
Reluctantly I have decided to sell it and buy a semi-auto which should, I hope allow me to participate in DTL and Sporting layouts.

I am currently considering the following and would be interested in any comments about them, good and bad.

VERNEY CARRRON. V12. 2.6kg /5.73lbs
ITALY. FABARM. H3 Black Limited 71 in. 2.9kg / 6.4lbs
WINCHESTER. X3 Field. 3kg / 6.6lbs

I was also thinking about a Remington 11-87 Field but it is the same weight as the Miroku.

Have you thought about the 20 bore , they are lighter and has the same reach as the 12 bore. The Fabarm is alright same as the winchester but will you be allowed to use semi auto for D.T.L ????

For clay pigeon shooting at CPSA registered events and CPSA affiliated grounds, the maximum permitted bore of shotguns is 12, equivalent to 0.729 inches diameter. Barrel lengths typically vary from 26 to 32 inches, and side-by-side, under and over and single barrelled two shot semi-automatics are commonly used. Pump action guns are generally considered unsuitable for clay pigeon shooting.

Oooooooooooooooooo! Looks like there might be a straight swap deal going for a Benelli Montefeltro Centro Crio. now that would be GOOD!

I have always fancied having a Benelli Montefeltro but wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost. I am always on the look out for a nice vintage Browning Double Auto to go with the two I have, though. I have a steel action and a lightweight Twelvette with the silver grey action but would like a dragon black, green or brown twelvette. I will never see a blue, red or gold one as very few were made. There is a even a pink one somewhere. I use the steel one for sporting clays.

That gun looks brand new. Guy that had it obviously treated it with care. I don't know a Benelli Montefeltro from an alley cat, but I'm impressed.

Neither do I but a little research seems to say that they are one of THE best. Time will tell but I am now going to have to wait about a week to get my hands on it!

I got it wrong. It's not a Centro Crio it's a Montefeltro with all the bells and whistles including 5 inner chokes and 2 Briley Chokes, Skeet & Full. Still the same pictures!
