My British sniper rifles
Thought I would show my Enfield "T" sniper rifles. One is all matching, MkIII scope, mount, metal MkI scope case, transit chest and the rifle. It's the one with the transit chest and two scope cases in front of the chest, a metal MkI matching one and an extra MkII canvas case that came with it.
I'll use the extra canvas case for the Trials sniper that's pictured without a transit chest.
The third rifle shown with a transit case does not have a matching the scope and mount but the scope case matches the scope and mount and the transit case matches the rifle.
Recenty I just picked up an excellent Scout Regt telescope with a super rare original, not cut down like most, tripod with an even rarer original carring sling for a short tripod.
There is a link to my US collection that Robert put on this site. http://www.milsurpafterhours.com/bb/vie ... =21&t=8079
But that site only allows US related items and I also have other nation weapons and items that I enjoy showing and will show some of them on this site.
I always enjoy showing my collection to folks who have the same interests as they would be the only ones who would understand and appricate the items and the history of them
Any comments or suggestions are always welcome on my US thread as everybody including me, who views the comments, benefits and learn from them. Ray

Welcome to the site rayg. You will have the guys from the UK excited by your post of Enfield snipers for sure. You have an amazing collection of military arms and I'm sure anything you care to post here will be well received.
What you posted in a string at the US Militaria Forum is really mind blowing in the extent of your collection. I thank you for visiting here and I appreciate your posting.

Re: My British sniper rifles
Thanks for your posts, they are superb. Wish I had the chance to own some!
I have a No:4 MKI which I have 'Massaged' to a 'T' in a way. It was done because:-
a) It is not all matching ( Built from various rifles discovered in France WWII)
b) I have to shoot with bifocal glasses.
c) I still have the Parker Hale original sights so it can be returned to it's original (!) form any time.
d) It is very accurate so warrants (T) classification!

Re: My British sniper rifles
Very nice.
Makes we want to reconsider buying the one for sale locally but I doubt the wife would go for that.
