I started this forum for any collecting hobby and it turned into my camera collecting and using forum. I use it mostly to keep a record of my photo adventures. Nobody but me seems to have photo adventures that visit here....but however. I have so many cameras now that I forget which is which and which ones work and which ones don't. If you have cameras and adventures you would be welcome to post here.

Martin, PM me your address. I think I have it but just in case it is something different.
Like that 101st pin on that old hat. I actually belong to the 101st Association because of a short time in Vietnam. I got one on a hat too. I was officially in the 2/320th arty but spent my time attached to the 3/506 Infantry.

Robert,
PM sent.
The 101st liberated the south of the Netherlands in September 1944 during Operation Market Garden.
I live in the south and , as you already know, we remember our liberators each and every year.
That pin is just my way of saying that we will never forget that.
Thanks Robert.
Met vriendelijke groet,
Martin

Nothing to do with the contest but I think it especially good that associations and people such as us exist. Remembering is so very important and so many people don't remember because it didn't happen on their watch so to speak.
We are now a generation once removed from the dark days of WWII and probably twice removed from WWI so it is most important that we keep the faith with those who are no longer with us in a world that they helped to keep free.

WOW, that's a great looking mug.
Thanks Robert.
I'll drink my coffee with even more pleasure using this mug.

They do makeup surprisingly well. I got a couple. I've run them through the dishwasher with nothing bad happening to the photo either.....at least so far.
