Finnish M27

[Dutch Mosin]

Bought this one in 2010 and picked it up in Germany about two weeks ago.
It’s a Finnish Mosin Nagant M27.
Makes the Finnish part of my collection more complete.
This M27 is build on a 1914 Izhevsk receiver.

This one is in my collection, so I can't take it to the range.
Despite that I'm really happy with this one................as I am with all my Mosin Nagants.

If the rifle is in your collection, why can't you shoot it?
Are your laws such that you can shoot some rifles you own, but not others?

That's right Vern.
Our gun law says: When you want to shoot, get a shooters license and when you want to collect.....get a collectors license.

Our shooters license has a limit of 5 firearms.
Black powder weapons are free, meaning they have no limit.
Only the ammo appears on the license.

Our collectors license has no limit.

Dutch gun law is one of the most strict gun laws in Europe.
Stick to the rules however and much can be done.
It just takes a lot of time and patience.
