After staring at it for a few minutes, it finally dawned on me how it works, it has substituted numbers for certain letters.
T=7
S=5
I=1
A=4
E=3

These letters and numbers have an almost similar shape, and after a couple of lines, your brain automatically translates the numbers into letters.

I wonder if it works the same way for someone with English as a second language?
