Case catcher

Post by joseyclosey » Sun Aug 28, 2005 3:42 pm

This is a empty case catcher for the 6.5 Swedish Mauser rifle, the metal ring fits the receiver of the M96 and the bag mouth positioned to the ejection port to catch the spent round.

Its not really a soldiers issued accoutrement, but is an interesting piece of kit.

I have used this bag but didnt find it particulary effective at catching the empties!

most brass catchers aren't very effective at least the ones I ever saw but that is a nice looking piece are they hard to find?
