Smug!

Post by dbm » Mon Aug 29, 2005 8:17 am

I spent the weekend up at the MLAGB's ranges at Wedgnock, near Warwick, shooting in the Association's annual Short Range Championships.

Competitions are 13 shots in 30 minutes with best 10 shots to count. I had a couple of nice targets offhand. :D

First up was the offhand military rifle match fired at 50m in which I used an original Pattern 1860 Short Rifle to score 96.

Second was the offhand reproduction free rifle match, again fired at 50m, in which I used a Pedersoli Bristlen-Morges to score 99.

I won both matches and also picked up a silver medal in the 100m prone military rifle match where I scored 87 with the P/60 Enfield.

A satisfying weekend!!
