Arab and gun

Post by Niner » Tue Oct 16, 2012 1:54 pm

Well...Arab High School in Arab Alabama is where this story happens. If the subject of this idiot situation were really an Arab the office of Homeland Security and the FBI would be all over him and ...well... that's a different rant.

Zero tolerance is the idiotic aspect in this case in particular but then zero tolerance is an idiotic concept to begin with.

Here's a slightly amusing example of zero tolerance, taken from a post on Shooting.com.au (which is not only the site name but the url as well :D
Yep, got one. [Spanish 9mm Destroyer Carbine] Paid $120 at the time. Runs 9x23, loaded down, and takes single stack pistol mags. The Spanish ran the same ammo in their pistols and carbines. Cocks on close. Light and easy to handle, but average workmanship. Needed property letter for 5,000 acres at the time to shoot it in WA because it is a 'military calibre' rifle. I asked if they were pulling my leg or were confused with 9.3mm. Nope. Go figure.
