I posted this article up on another site i frequent and thought it would make an interesting post here on MAH.

A vaguely tenuous link to Mausers is the Mauser SLR mentioned in the text.

It's from a now defunct Brit magazine called Guns Review which i used to regularly subscribe to many moons ago.

Came across this interesting article in the same magazine on the Mauser Semi Automatic Rifle, it seems this old Mauser recoil system was used in later gas blowback operation rifles including the Enfield EM2.
