Any body know if the Darrel mount normally fitted to the Nagant can be modified to fit the 6.5x55 swede.

No. But you should be able to sell it. Darrell seems to be about out of the notion to make them.

There are different Darrell mounts for different MNs, but if you have one for an M38,
I would be glad to take it off your hands so you could buy the proper mount.....

I have been looking for one for about a year, no luck yet.......

My guess is that you would have to machine it, since I think most of his mounts are made from
a solid block of metal.

I appreciate the thought, I was looking for one for my M38, but yours would fit
just fine on my M91/30.....
If it becomes available, I am certainly interested.

The mount is available I have sold the rifle. I have no idea how much the mount is worth.

I just wish my timing was better, wife's medical bills seem to be piling up and it's
only going to get worse. She goes in later this month for a 4 day evaluation to
get a liver transplant. Really sucks, she doesn't even drink.
If it were for a M38, I would probably find the coins, but since I already have a good
mount on my 91/30, guess I'll have to pass........ :( :(

I think a fair price would be what you paid for it, and the shipping.
But you could probably get a lot more, since they are very hard to find.
