Class of 1944

Post by Miller Tyme » Sun Sep 29, 2013 2:18 pm

What to do on a rainy day…….. I had the bright idea to get all of my 1944 Mosin Nagant rifles and carbines out for a group pic. This turned out not to be one of my brighter ideas since it meant going through 6 gun safes to find them all and taking them to the basement to line up and get some pics, To make matters worse my camera took a dump and I have been force to use an old back up camera that is a POS, so on 3 of the pics I had to go to my old files for receiver pics.

Well enough of that,

I present to you the Mosin Nagant class of 1944

That is amazing to have that many of one year of manufacture. How many Mosin Nagents do you have you in your collection? Thanks for the pictures. I enjoy seeing them and finding out what you have aquired. It has opened my eyes to the large variety of Mosin Nagents there are.
Regards
Peter.

At present I have approx. 110 Mosin Nagants in my collection Peter. I have recently sold off a few duplcates and lesser models as I upgrade and shift my focus around to different styles and models of MN's.

That is impressive. All 1944 to boot. How many of them have you fired? Are any them more favorite than others?

The only ones of the group I have fired is the Izhevsk PU/Yugo refurb and the Tula hex M38, the others haven't had a round put through them, but it's not like I don't have more of these to shoot......
