Only FOUR firm entries at the moment. Targets are with Robert for checking before they are issued. C'mon guys, you need to be in it to win it..................

I will be in when it warms up a little, high today is 29deg.

Seems I don't have a "black powder" rifle......oh wait, I once took apart a .22 Magnum round
and all the powder in it was black, soooooo.............. :mrgreen:

The targets look good to me. There are two sizes because of the differences in printer paper sizes in the US and in Europe. The Europe ones are A4 in Duncan's chart language.

I think a rectangle shaped target is an interesting choice. And the obvious lesson here
is to not shoot at the corners or above or below the bullseye.
Corner of 10 to corner of 4 = 5"
Top or bottom of 10 to T or B of 4 = 4"
Side of 10 to side of 4 = 3"

Horizontal shots from the bullseye will get you a better score than vertical shots.
Luckily, I will be shooting at the round targets............ :mrgreen:

A couple of notes on the targets..............

Seriously though, A4 targets will be sent to the European shooters and LETTER targets to the Americas. The ONLY difference is the paper size, the actual lines are the same for both types.
The winners will be those who score the highest totals per competition. In the case of a tie, the group sizes will determine the final winner so KEEP EM TIGHT :lol: :lol:

Each registered shooter will receive their targets by e.mail this weekend. Each target has a unique code on it so don't be tempted to us copies from this thread :cool: :cool: For those who wish to participate in the Big Prize overall, REMEMBER, you must send me the original targets by post. I will confirm my postal address when sending out the initial targets. :cool: :cool:

Completed targets;

Robert has asked me to clarify a point :roll:

If you are only competing for a prize in the shooting competitions then you can send me the targets by e.mail - BUT - if you are entering for the BIG WINNER prize of the week in our Gîte then you must send the original targets to me by post. I hope this is clear but ask questions if you have any, now's the time ;)

I am not sure I will be able to see that target at 50 yards either with iron sights if it printed on A4 especially with the scoring being yellow.
