Post by awo425 » Sat Sep 24, 2005 2:20 am

Hello!

I have read all the informations on teh net so far.

In know they are rare, but hao rare??????

Some collectors do not belive, that all the 2500 mentioned everywhere , were actualy manufactured.

Does anyone know more about their use in the britisch forces over the years?

Well, if they started at serial number 1, I KNOW they made up to 188X, as I have it. All British ones were prefixed with BS and then the number. The Canadian model was also listed in the nomenclature as No.7 Mk.1 as well, but early ones were marked just No.7 and later C No.7

The L-E Story suggsts 2500 were made as against 20,000 of the Canadian version
