What more could a man ask?

Post by Brass Rat » Fri Apr 04, 2014 3:07 pm

I need to dig my yellow Garmin GPS out and walk the range but it is way past 100 yards. This is standing about 3/4 of the way back from the target. The white thing is a 12' piece of vinyl siding folded over.

This is looking back from the target area. Behind me is a creek then a 30' rise to a pasture.
I am going to put a bench just in front of the trees that are in the very center of the pic.

This is looking out my front door at the area where the bench is going to be. What the hell more could a man ask for except maybe Nastassja Kinski inside making lunch.

This is the door I was looking out of.

I finally caved and decided that I did really need a 1911. This is a Ruger SR1911 stainless. I hate to say it but I am probably going to try and talk Bob into swapping his XD-45 for the 1911. He has wanted one for quite a while.

Now that's a great new setup. I can see the back yard shooting range coming in the near future. Like your jeep too.

Now that looks very comfortable, keep the pictures coming as you set up the range

I am hoping that Bob can get at least a 2 day weekend soon so he can come up and help me put one of these together.

Because I am a Yorkshireman and hate spending money on things if I don't have to I made a bench from a few bits I had around. It is 'car portable' so I can take it anywhere

I am sure I posted it elsewhere but here it is again.
Parts used...........Workmate, Axle Stand, Plywood Top covered with an aerobics mat and a folding stool! I have also made a piece to fit the workmate so I can bore sight a rifle without it moving
