Continuation War Captured 31 Izhevsk Dragoon

Put a bid in on this one up last week on GB since I didn’t have a 1930’s Dragoons and was pleasantly surprised it held up. (I think everyone else had eyes for the 1914 Dragoon)

It’s a very well used Finn Continuation War captured Dragoon that is “41” stamped. It still retains the Dragoon solid barrel bands and is a mix of both early and late Izhevsk & Tula parts. The bore is dark but there is good rifling and the sling slot escutcheon plates are missing, and have been for some time as the rear sling hanger wore a nice groove into the stock.
