Spotted last night on the Webcam. Not a mutant but two owls - hopefully the parents of this years brood grooming each other by the looks of it.
Nice to know they are still around

GREAT NEWS, for us anyway.

Just checked the owlcam and there are a pair in the barn tonight. Looking good for another family this year.........................

The Owls are now sitting in the nestbox that I made.
Top image is Mrs looking out just before emerging to see if Mr had left any food on the ledge. He had not but she came out, had a stretch and then bottom image, went back in.

I do wish I could find a CCTV that has a zoom lens and is Ethernet cable connectable, I am sure I could get some great shots.

By the way, a Blackbird is nesting in a cavity in the wall just below the camera. Hope the Owls don't eat the Blackbirds chicks
