Well it's the first day of the hunting season today. 8:00 a.m. they started shooting everywhere..........It's now 10:00 a.m. and all is quiet.
I watched a bunch of 3 hunters actually shoot at nothing in front of the house, just for the noise
They really are a bunch of tossers

I'm guessing that since this is the shotgun forum, they are hunting birds...... What kind?
.
Peace is that brief, quiet moment in history.......... when everybody stands around reloading.

They shoot at anything they see Vern. Mainly Partridge, Pheasant, ( bred for the hunters ), Pigeon, Rabbits, Hares and of course Wild Bore. This doesn't stop them shooting their own dogs and each other sometimes - mainly after lunch
They also shoot Duck & Geese in the marshes where there are flight ponds everywhere!

A report in the regional paper says that on Sunday, the start of the hunting season, just after nine o'clock, a hunter in the Lands area shot himself in the foot and ankle and had to be rushed to hospital in Bordeaux
You couldn't make it up!!

At least he wasn't looking down the muzzle to see if it was loaded.
