1907 Sling question

Things a soldier would carry other than firearms, ammo, or uniforms. Meaning equipment such as ammo pouches, bayonets, holsters, oil cans, cleaning equipment, etc.

Picked up this new and unissued 1907 sling. SA LTD. 1944 marked, who was SA Ltd.?

S.A. I would think is for Springfield Armory not sure about the LTD unless it was marked for the uk?

anyone else have any thoughts on it?

Nice looking sling Joe!

I don't have any originals, just new production Turner's.

I don't recall if Springfield Armory actually made any slings.

Seems more likely to me that it was made by a Commonwealth company.

I thought Springfield Armoury at first but the LTD threw me a little, i will have to try a little more research.
