...to some of the laws that are dreamt up by the politicians. Take the law in the UK banning fox hunting with hounds. The way the law is drawn up makes it legal to hunt a rabbit but not a Hare, legal to hunt a rat but not a mouse. A fox can be hunted with hounds but not killed by them, but can be killed by a Hawk. So, if you are out walking with your dog and it finds and kills a rat, you are legal, but if it finds and kills a mouse you have broken the law. Totally illogical.
Worth a try but won't work as you are deemed to be in control of the dog. The odd thing is that there were record crowds out on Boxing Day supporting the Hunts that were out to excercise their hounds with a run through the countryside. Hunting is illegal but not excercising the hounds. I understand that there may have been an odd accident where the hounds put up a fox and caught it before they could be called off by the Huntsman. That is OK so long as the intention is not to hunt.
Politicians don't deal in what is logical, only politics which is more often than not illogical. No wonder they are held in low esteem.

Peter.
PS Does anyone have any pictures of Asian firearms they would like to post?
