Value for money, I’d say.
Are you going to fire it?

Yes, as long as I can make sure the dogs are safe.
Start with blank charges and see what happens..........

Think it most probably Belgian but there are no disenable proof or makers marks.
First job is to try and remove the nipples and then the handgrip which has vice marks in it and I think should be a darker finish.
I also need to find my boxes of caps - I know I brought some with me when we moved!!

Getting those mismatched nipples out might be a chore. The next problem will be finding replacements that will screw into existing threads.

Removed the hand grip and found a substantial set of springs and a little dirt. The wood looks original as it is well fitted. :D :D

Looks to be a well made piece, not the top end of the market but definitely in the dependable, user section; a useful self defence weapon.

Saw this single barrel version of what Duncan seems to have that a guy did a restore video on. His was in really rusty and crusty shape. Considering the time and effort and chemical baths I wonder if it was worth it. The soldered, welded, glued and hand made nipple seems a bit much.
