Hi-Power frame question

Post by Rambler » Tue Nov 22, 2005 11:10 pm

I was looking on the Numrich site for something else entirely when I decided for the helluvit to see what they wanted for a Hi-Power frame. The listing said that the frame was missing the barrel cams. Not being a Hi-Power guy, I'd like to know what this means (has this frame been dewatted? are the cams integral or replaceable?)

This query is just to add to my general knowledge. Thanks!

I was just browsing in territory that I don't frequent often.

As I remember from working on Browning HiPowers the barrel cams are replaceable, but I think that they are rivetted in.

And, just for the helluvit, where would one get a replacement?

Eoin.

You didn't look hard enough. They have Inglis HP frame and slide sets for about 90 bucks. Mine came in very nice and matched numbers.
Enfield, anything else is just a rifle.
