My first rifle

This is the first rifle I bought in October 1968. It is a Remington Model 552 Speedmaster .22 rimfire that I bought new. I had a Parker Hale moderator fitted to it. It has been used in the field and on the range ever since. It has had several thousands of rounds through it over the years and is a rifle I will never sell.

My wife gave me a Speedmaster 522 for Christmas the second year of our marrage. It was the first new gun I had ever owned since the ones my dad bought when I was a kid at home. I got this one back in December of 1971.

there both good looking rifles the speedmasters where good shooters.
